2616850161_a1821d66bf_b-250x187The German National Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament will be held for the 20th time in June 2010. The  summit has been organised since 1990 and is the annual highpoint of the European Youth Parliament’s work. Its aim is to select two delegations to represent Germany during the two upcoming International Sessions in Athens and Lviv.  12 delegations from sixth-form colleges throughout Germany, each consisting of 8 pupils, will be participating at the session.

Held in Würzburg under the patronage of Horst Seehofer – prime minister of the federal state of Bavaria – and Gerog Rosenthal – mayor of Würzburg – this session will focus on environmental, ecological and climate change issues. Therefore the session will be titled “There is no Planet B”.

We are really looking forward to a lively debate with the decision makers of tomorrow.
