Last weekend EYP Germany held its annual General Meeting in Berlin. Over 60 members took part in discussions about our upcoming sessions and elected three new members of the Board. Verena Namberger, President of EYP Germany and Sonja Weicker, member of the board, resigned from their offices. We would like to thank both of them for their long-time commitment for our organisation. The new Board consists of the following members: Martin Hoffmann (President), Sonja Pürckhauer (Vice-President), Lorenz Bock (Treasurer), Jakob Leonard, Hadrien Segond, Monika Seidel, Kerstin Mathias and Jorg Körner.

In addition we spend the weekend in different workshops, preparing and organising the upcoming sessions of the EYP in Germany: In November we will host the 2nd German-franco Forum in Saarbrücken and Strasbourg. Our 20th National Selection Conference will take place in Würzburg in June 2010. Finally, we are honoured to host the 64th International Session of the European Youth Parliament in Frankfurt in August.
