International Autumn Forum Löwenberg
(October 13th–17th, 2010)
In October 2010 about 60 participants from all over Europe will gather in Löwenberg for the International Autumn Forum of the European Youth Parliament.
European Youth Summit on Education, Passau (September 15th-18th, 2010)
In September 2010 the European Youth Parliament (EYP) in Germany will host a Session in the city of Passau for the first time. At the border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic about 60 delegates from all over Europe will come together and discuss current political issues related to “Youth and Education in Europe” on an academic level.
64th International Session in Frankfurt 2010 (July 30th – August 8th, 2010)
Every year, three International Sessions of the European Youth Parliament take place in different European countries. We are glad to host the 64th International Session from 30 July to 8 August in Germany. Here, 250 teenagers, 16 to 20 years old, from 33 European countries will meet and explore Europe together
20th National Selection Conference in Würzburg (June 9th – 13th, 2010)
The German National Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament will be held for the 20th time in June 2010. The summit has been organised since 1990 and is the annual highpoint of the European Youth Parliament’s work. Its aim is to select two delegations to represent Germany during the two upcoming International Sessions in Athens and Lviv. 12 delegations from sixth-form colleges throughout Germany, each consisting of 8 pupils, will be participating at the session.
European Forum Essen (May 8th – 11th, 2010)
Between 8th and 11th May around 70 young Europeans will gather in Essen for yet another International Forum of the European Youth Parliament. Within the scope of RUHR.2010 and Essen being the European Capital of Culture we will offer all participants a unique cultural programme, while providing them with a platform to discuss and share their opinions and visions on Europe.
2nd Franco-German Forum (November 18th – 22nd, 2009)
To celebrate the 60th birthday of the Council of Europe the European Youth Parliament arranges a transnational conference in Germany and France. Between 18 and 22 November 2009 we are awaiting about 80 young people from all over Europe in order to discuss current questions of European policy and experience the cultural diversity of Europe. Under the patronage of Terry Davis, Secretary General of the Council of Europa, the participants will deal with several perspectives and political issues under the motto “force and future – human rights in Europe”.
6th International Forum Bad Urach (May 21 – 24, 2009)
Already for the 6th time the International Fourum in Bad Urach will take place in the beautiful south of Germany. 45 young persons from seven european countries will meet from May 21st till 24th. They will discuss Wuropean topics, they will live internationality, and connect with new people from all over Europe.
1. Alps-forum in Prien am Chiemsee (April 16 – 19, 2009)
From April 16th to April 19th the European Youth Parliament Germany invites young Europeans to take part in the first Alps-forum in Prien am Chiemsee. Under the patronage of Barbara Stamm, president of parliament of Bavaria, 80 young people from 10 countries will deal with the session’s main topic: “water”.
