Regional Conference Traunstein
(23rd – 26th February 2012)
By 2012, the German National Committee of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) will for the very first time hold two regional sessions in the course of the National Selection. The Regional Selection Conference for southern Germany, with each eight sixth formers from twelve different grammar schools participating, will take place in the Bavarian town Traunstein between 23rd and 26th of February. Regional Conference Hamburg
(8th – 11th March 2012)
In 2012, EYP Germany organises its first two Regional Conferences as a part of the National Selection. The Regional Conference for the Northern half of Germany will be held between the 8th and 11th of March in Hamburg. More than 100 young people will gather in the modern metropolis of Northern Germany to discuss the future of mobility and communication in the European Union. Throughout the session, all participants will be accommodated at the Gymnasium Grootmoor in the idyllic northern districts. International Forum Heidelberg

Schwerin goes Europe – in spring 2011, Schwerin will host the 21st National Selection Conference. 100 delegates from all over Germany are going to discuss the European Union’s future, with special emphasis on the European identity.
Patronage granted for Regensburg

Gerda Hasselfeldt, the Vice-President of the German Bundestag, has accepted the patronage for the International Forum in Regensburg. From May 30th to June 4th 2011 around 80 young Europeans will gather in Regensburg for the European Forum of the European Youth Parliament.
