22. National Selection Conference in Berlin

Following EYP Germany’s first Regional Selection Conferences, this year’s National Selection Conference will take place in Berlin from Sunday, May 27 until Thursday, May 31, 2012. Germany’s historically, culturally and politically prominent capital will be an ideal setting to discuss the current state of the EU’s foreign policy. Inspired by the session’s theme “Thinking Outside Borders” the committees will work on different aspects of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy and its role in current global conflicts. International Summer Forum in Menden
(July 9 – 15, 2012)
After holding events in the urban centres of Hamburg and Berlin, the European Youth Parliament German National Committee deliberately chose a rural region to host its International Summer Forum in Menden. An innovative concept which facilitates a face-to-face exchange between the session’s participants and the citizens of Menden will make the six-day long event a special experience for all those taking part. European Youth Conference on Human Rights in Nuremberg

With the European Youth Conference on Human Rights, the European Youth Parliament is offering young Europeans a platform to join together in developing Europe’s future and to strengthen the position of human rights in today’s society. From December 4 – 8, 2012, around 80 students from all over the continent will gather in Nuremberg to debate the current situation of human rights in Europe. Nuremberg, as the city hosting the conference, does not only offer cultural attractions. 72nd International Session in Munich

Every year, three International Sessions of the European Youth Parliament take place in different European countries. EYP Germany is glad to host the 72nd International Session of the European Youth Parliament in Munich. From April 5 – 14, 2013 more than 300 young Europeans, aged 16 to 20, from 36 European countries will gather in the south of Germany to voice their opinion on current European issues. European Commissioner for the Environment grants his patronage to the 72nd International Session in Munich

From April 5 – 14 EYP Germany will gather 300 young Europeans in Munich to discuss current European issues focussing on the global importance of resources. We are glad to announce that the 72nd International Session of the European Youth Parliament will take place under the patronage of Mr Janez Potočnik, European Commissioner for the Environment.
